Your choice
Analytics is optional. It stays off until you select Accept or enable Analytics in Preferences. Rejecting analytics does not stop you browsing, making an enquiry or opening our booking providers. Use the floating cookie preferences button to change or withdraw your choice at any time. Your choice is remembered for 180 days.
What analytics measures
With your permission, Travel Addo Group uses Google Analytics 4 to understand visits, pages viewed, active engagement, scrolling and selected interactions. These include accommodation and safari choices, booking link clicks, contact link clicks, PDF links, FAQ opens, gallery use and contact form starts or submission attempts. A booking click is not a confirmed booking, and a submission attempt does not prove that an enquiry was delivered.
Google receives pseudonymous cookie identifiers, browser and device information, approximate location, referral information and the technical connection information needed to provide its service. Our tracking removes query strings and fragments from page addresses and does not send names, email addresses, phone numbers or answers entered in forms. This setup does not use advertising personalisation, Google Signals or session recordings.
Cookies and retention
The essential wpconsent_preferences cookie remembers your choice for 180 days. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics uses _ga and _ga_3LWDKCHMSW cookies, configured for up to 180 days with automatic lifetime extension disabled. User-level and event-level Analytics data retention is set to 14 months, without resetting on new activity. Standard aggregated reports may remain available for longer.
Google and booking providers
Google may process analytics data outside South Africa. Read Google’s privacy policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Bookings completed through NightsBridge or ActivityBridge are also subject to the relevant provider’s privacy information.
