Colchester Suites
Relaxed coastal living near the park’s southern gate, with three self-catering suites, a pool and the lagoon within walking distance.
The Sunshine Coast end of an Addo trip
Colchester Suites is a welcoming base near the southern entrance of Addo Elephant National Park, with easy access off the N2. It makes a convenient first stop after arriving at Gqeberha Airport, or a final stay before flying home. It is the one property in the group where the sea is as much the point as the park, with relaxed coastal living and wildlife twenty minutes away.
There are three spacious suites, with one-, two- and three-bedroom options. Every suite is fully self-catering with a full kitchen, its own living room and private entrances, so there are no meal times to work around.
The Sundays River Lagoon is within walking distance, and so is a supermarket. That combination of water activities, fishing, sandboarding and boat trips on one side and the national park on the other is what makes this a place people stay at for several nights rather than one.
