Beyond Cui Bono Guest Lodge
Everything Addo has to offer from one base: rooms around a rock pond pool and a secret garden, twenty minutes from the park.
A one-stop base between Addo and Kirkwood
Beyond Cui Bono sits on the main road at Sunland, on the R336 between Addo and Kirkwood, about twenty minutes’ drive from Addo Elephant National Park. It is built to be a one-stop base: game drives into the national park and the Addo Wildlife Private Game Reserve leave from the door, and there is somewhere worth coming back to afterwards.
The rooms are arranged around a rock pond pool, the feature guests tend to remember, and a secret garden that is wonderfully quiet. Each room has its own entrance and its own bathroom, which is what makes the lodge work for a group without anybody sharing a corridor.
The main reception holds a large dining and bar area, where a home-style cooked breakfast is served before the day starts. It is also why this is the property we suggest first when a group wants to eat together.
