Five hundred metres from the sea

The Nest @ Boknes is a spacious self-catering holiday house in the seaside town of Boknes on the Eastern Cape coast. It sits just five hundred metres from the sea, and within a three-minute drive of a beach and lagoon where small children can swim safely.

It is very different from the Addo properties. There are no meal times, no gate opening and nothing to be organised around. Guests take the whole house and use it as the slow half of a trip, usually two or three nights either side of the safari days.

The surrounding coast is worth the drive on its own. Cannon Rocks, Kenton-on-Sea, Bushman’s River Mouth, Alexandria and Port Alfred are all close by, which makes this a base for a few days at the sea rather than just somewhere to sleep.

The house

The house is booked in full rather than per room. Contact us to discuss your group and the sleeping arrangements.

The whole house

Taken in full, which is what makes it work as a family or two-couple booking rather than a guesthouse.
